About MetroFares

MetroFares is an independent reference for metro fares, stations and routes across India. We cover 11 operational metro systems, 1,247 stations in 11 cities, each with its published fare slabs, a full station list, a route map and a fare calculator.

India runs more than a dozen metro networks, each with its own operator, its own distance-based fare table and its own app. There is no single place to compare them or to work out a fare before you travel. We bring the public information together and present it the same way for every city, so a fare in Delhi reads the same as a fare in Kochi.

We are not affiliated with any metro operator. Fares are indicative, drawn from each operator's published distance slabs, and our calculator estimates from straight-line distance, so it can differ from the official along-track fare. The operator's own app is always the source of truth for the exact fare, timings and any smart-card discount. See our methodology for how we build the data, and tell us about anything wrong at corrections@metrofares.in.
